Introduction:
  • holding racket
  • service and clear pass

Technique and rules:

The shuttle has to be hit lower than waist high. Start with a service followed by as many clear passes in a row as possible. Clear goes high to the end of the field

Introduce:

  • Service rules
  • playing rules (in, out and points)

Tournament:

Winners move 1 field towards the playground, losers move one field towards the school buildings. After playing a game, the players spend first one game on the side. Then they play their next game

Materials:
24 rackets, 12 shuttles, 2 badminton nets, 21 small cones
.

Introduction and practice:

  • 6 fields in the length of the basketball field
  • 2 persons on one side of the field

Playing:

  • 12 persons play at the same time on 6 field,. After each game, the persons who played move to their new field and wait one game.
  • Holding the racket is like giving the racket a hand
  • When playing badminton, always start in the center of the field (on the “T”). From there move to hit the shuttle

Warming up:
  • Service followed by clears
  • Introduce drop shot


Make 3 clears followed by a drop shot


Tournament:

Like class 1

Like class 1
Drop shot is same movement as clear, only hit the shuttle soft
During the games, try to place the shuttle in different parts of the field.
