Warming up in 5 fitness stations:
- running
- jump rope (short)
- sit ups
- jumping jacks
- back muscles
Dance
- See dance description page 1
- practice without music
- then with music

Materials for unit:
CD player, music, 12 small
cones, 4 medium cones, 5 yellow jump ropes, 6 gym mats, masking
tape
Warming up:
- divide class in 5 groups
- work on music (40-50 seconds
each station)
- change to the next station
when the music stops
Dance:
- Song no.1
- Song no. 2 (optional)
- Students are in lines with
enough space between them

- work on the rhythm of the
music whenever possible
Dance:
- dance is 16 seconds
- build up in 2 x 8 seconds
- 1234 is moving
- 5678 is movement
- Final dance goes in 2
directions
- Listen to the speed of the
music
